Consultation

Because every PV power station is different, customers are looked after by a specialised SMA support team from the very first enquiry and throughout the lifecycle of the project. Customers benefit from our proven technical expertise and worldwide customer proximity when it comes to planning and design of a PV power station, design and installation of monitoring and control solutions and DC and AC cabling concepts. For example, if regional grid access requirements need to be evaluated, we can carry out a static power flow calculation for grid operators or provide verifiable information on the basis of certified simulation environments on the dynamic grid support functions of a large-scale PV plant prior to installation.

Order to delivery

From order placement right through to plant commissioning, our project managers will oversee the implementation of the PV power station. They will take care of smooth order execution and assure on-time delivery. We will even endeavour to implement changes at short notice. Our project managers coordinate the timely transfer of the PV power station to SMA Service as soon as commissioning has taken place. On request, SMA Service will even look after the complete start-up of the plant. If there are questions about project documentation, the order processing managers will handle them with ease.

Service & Maintenance

At present, SMA has over 72 Service stations worldwide and this is set to increase. We have already established an efficient Sales and Service network assuring fast response times, regional expertise and long-term partnership. Our modular service concept also makes it possible for customers to tailor their own individual service package. Whether for investors wishing to keep the financial risk as low as possible, for plant operators with their own trained service technicians, or for project planners intending to sell off the PV plant after a short period of operation - SMA Services are tailored precisely to match the specific requirements of our customers. Installation & Grid Integration

As soon as commissioning of the PV power station has taken place, responsibility for the continuing care of the project is taken over by SMA Service. However, throughout the entire life cycle of a plant, customers can take advantage of the collective plant-specific expertise of the project managers at SMA under our Total Lifecycle Management program.
