Solar Energy Supply with Sunny Boy 3300

In the PV farm “Puente de Gena-Jaen”, located in Almaraz in western Spain, the PV modules turn to the sun. On a surface of around 120 hectares, the Spanish project developer OPDE installed 2,000 solar trackers, each with an output of 11 kilowatt peak (kWp). The farm has a total power of 22 megawatt peak (MWp).

The SMA inverter Sunny Boy 3300 is ideally suited for these extreme conditions with high ambient temperatures in this region. Along with the intelligent cooling system OptiCool, its generously dimensioned die-cast aluminum enclosure guarantees highest annual yields of more than 43 million kilowatt hours (kWh) per year.
