Quick help with technical problems
The yield of your PV system is very important to us. If a product of the Sunny Family should fail, we will do everything to solve the problem as quickly as possible.
If your inverter does not work our Service Line will check if an exchange is required. We normally send out a replacement inverter withing 24 hours. All replacement inverters are technically up-to-date. In this way we ensure the trouble-free operation of your system.
- Please contact the local SMA office directly; call 1800 SMA AUS or write to Service@SMA-Australia.com.au (Please note that the Service Line will ask you for the serial number of your device and the error code the device is showing)
- To make the process more comfortable for both sides you are requested to use this exchange form.

- Should the Service Line decide that an exchange is required, please wait until you received the replacement unit before sending the defect unit in. This way you can make sure you can swap possibly required components, which might not necessarily accompany the replacement.
Technical remark: You need at least the free version of Adobe Reader to open the exchange form (download Adobe Reader). It is not possible to save the data with the Adobe Acrobat Reader but only with the full version of Adobe Acrobat.
