Is additional cooling of the Sunny Boys and Sunny Mini Centrals sensible?

An additional cooling of the inverter is only sensible if the inverters are installed in an area where the ambient temperature is high and the inverter can not therefore dissipate its heat into the surroundings quickly enough (non-observance of the installation instructions).

Additional cooling can in this case be sensible. How this measure affects the system yield is difficult to estimate, however.

The additional cooling must take place, however, without interferences / changes to the inverters. In all other cases the Warranty / Guarantee of the relevant device is voided.

Furthermore it should be ensured that when using an additional cooling system the airflow of all inverters is cooled to the same degree. Above all the exhaust air of one inverter should in no way lead to the interference of another inverter.
