Independent cybersecurity validation for Australia's critical energy infrastructure.
As Australia's energy system becomes increasingly digital, distributed and interconnected, cybersecurity has become an important consideration for renewable energy projects and critical infrastructure operators.
To help demonstrate our commitment to secure energy infrastructure, SMA Australia voluntarily participated in the 2026 Australian Energy Sector Cyber Security Framework (AESCSF) assessment.
Conducted by Deloitte and commissioned and overseen by the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO), the assessment independently evaluated SMA's cybersecurity maturity and security capabilities against Australia's leading energy-sector cybersecurity framework.
The assessment provides independent validation of SMA's cybersecurity maturity, operational resilience and commitment to secure energy infrastructure.
