SMA Solar Academy Expands Its Worldwide Training Program for PV Professionals

Seminars, webinars, video tutorials: More than 5,000 installers and PV system planners from all over the world participate in SMA Solar Academy trainings annually. SMA Solar Technology AG (SMA) is now expanding its offering and presenting all available seminars and online classes on the new website Experts who install PV systems, integrate battery-storage systems or want to obtain information about the latest inverter technologies can now find what they need even faster and can simply register directly.

“By expanding our seminar program and with the new website, we make it even easier for installers, sales staff and system planners to find and book the right training course,” said Tillmann Blume, head of the SMA Solar Academy. “Our various online classes and on-site seminars with excellently qualified SMA experts provide in-depth technical knowledge, the fundamentals of installing and commissioning PV systems and also specialist knowledge of storage integration, hybrid system commissioning and energy management for commercial businesses. In addition to the seminars that the installers can attend in twelve countries, our webinars have been met with great interest. These training courses can be accessed online globally.”

Seminars on SMA systems, photovoltaics and sustainable use of solar power
Since 2004, the SMA Solar Academy has trained system planners, installers and electrically qualified persons from all over the world and qualifies them for the technical work with PV systems worldwide. In the seminars and webinars, experts impart their knowledge on SMA systems, photovoltaics and sustainable use of solar power according to the specific target group. Every year, approximately 1,000 specialists from the solar industry attend the practice-oriented seminars in Niestetal, Kassel, Germany. In addition, classroom training takes place in the training centers of the SMA Solar Academy in the U.S., Australia, Benelux countries, France, India, Italy, Japan, the Middle East, Spain, South Africa and the United Kingdom.
